How to add enable or disable comment formatting in Netbeans. The Netbeans IDE provides extensive code formatting options to let you reformat your source code quickly and easily. But sometimes this ends up reformatting your comments too. Personally I don't want my comments to be reformatted. That's because I often format comments in a very specific way and I don't want Netbeans to change that. In this short tutorial I show you how to toggle comment formatting. Netbeans has a simple option that lets you turn comment formatting off so that only the source code is reformatted but the comments are left untouched. In this video I show how to toggle with option for Java. You can also toggle comment-formatting for other languages, however.
